 Arrival

First-Time Guests

We strongly recommend you fill out the liability waiver before arriving.

Returning Guests

Returning guests should plan on arriving 30 minutes before their surf session to ensure they are at their Launch Pads 15 minutes before the session begins.

Note: latecomers may lose their wave time and rescheduling is not guaranteed.

  5. Watch out for other surfers and maintain a safe distance from them.
  6. Always follow safety rules and surf guide instruction.
  7. Only surfers are allowed in the lagoon.
  8. Participate responsibly. You should be capable of self-rescue. You should be in good health and know your physical conditions and limitations. If you believe your health could be at risk or aggravate a pre-existing condition of any kind, do not surf.

Waiver

All guests purchasing a surf pass, shore pass, coaching session or clinic must sign our waiver either online or on-site. For expediency, we encourage all guests to fill out the waiver in advance.

If a guest is under the age of 18, his or her parent or legal guardian must fill out the waiver on the minor’s behalf. Aunts, uncles, grandparents or family friends that are not legal guardians may not sign for the minor.

Water

The lagoon is filled with rainwater that has been collected from our reservoir and treated. The water is not heated. As a rule of thumb, the water temperature is approximately 3 degrees less than the average daily air temperature.

Waves

NLand generates hundreds of waves each day, including steep, high performance Reef Waves, long, open face party waves, and playful white water Bay Waves. NLand is the new home break for experts and beginners alike.

The wave runs in two directions on both sides of the lagoon, so whether you are on the east Reef or the west Reef, you will be able to surf both a left and a right.

There are Surf Guides in the water at each wave to ensure safety standards are being met, and to enforce the Surfer Responsibility Code.

Weather

In the event of lightning, tornados or other major weather occurrences, we will evacuate the lagoon to ensure the safety of our guests. Please note, we post weather alerts at the top of our website.

If a session is cut short, we will prorate refunds. However, a session which lasts 45 minutes or more is considered complete and no refund will be given.

Wetsuits

Wetsuits are available for rent or purchase at our Surf Shop.

Let’s go surfing.
